Taylor’s Background
As a Dallas native with deep roots in the community, I bring local insight and a personalized approach to every case. My passion for the legal field began in high school through my participation in Mock Trial, which is an academic competition that focuses on exposure to the judicial process. During my participation as an attorney advocate on the team, I was able to gain confidence in public speaking. Many of the local judges and attorneys volunteered for the competition, but very few looked like me, a Black woman. I was thus inspired to join the legal profession to expand representation for Black women.
Before attending law school at UNT Dallas College of Law, I served as a student success coach and service leader with City Year Dallas, an AmeriCorps program dedicated to educational equity. I worked in disadvantaged schools throughout the Dallas area, an experience that reaffirmed my passion for advocacy and justice. Working alongside
students facing systemic barriers taught me that representation matters—that having someone fight relentlessly for your rights can transform lives.
These formative experiences shaped my approach to employment discrimination law today. I advocate passionately for clients facing workplace injustice, including cases involving race, gender, age, disability discrimination, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination. My practice is built on a commitment to protecting employee rights and
creating more equitable workplaces.
