Cardinal Health, Inc. Issues Voluntary Nationwide Recall of Certain LEADER™ Brand Eye Drops Supplied by Velocity Pharma, LLC Due to Potential Risk of Eye Infections
Cardinal Health, a major distributor of pharmaceutical and medical products, initiated a voluntary recall of specific batches of Leader eye drops following a warning issued by the FDA. This action was prompted by concerns over the safety and efficacy of the product. Leader eye drops are a widely used over-the-counter remedy for various eye conditions, such as dry eyes and eye irritation.
The regulator found unsanitary conditions in the facility of the manufacturer of the eye drops, as well as positive bacterial test results from environmental sampling of critical drug production areas in the facility.
Injuries resulting from defective products can result in substantial physical, emotional, and financial stress. If you or someone you know has been injured by recalled batches of Leader eye drops, the attorneys at our office may be able to help.
